I'm in tune with what you're saying here. At least most of it. Haven't read it all. Too many words squeezed into small boxes, need a bit of air and space.
I hope Jim isn't upset (not too much) about my crit of his novel back there.
How do you know when people have left comments when there are so many places to leave them? Do you have a board that lights up or makes a sound when there are comments waiting?
And isn't it depressing when no one leaves any comments at all, ever? Maybe it's better not to have comments boxes because then you'll never know if you would have had comments on your thoughts or not.
